Joseph G. "Dynamite Joe" Gembis (September 29, 1907 – July 5, 1969) was an American football player and coach. He played college football at the University of Michigan from 1926 to 1929 as a fullback and placekicker. He played semi-professional football in 1930 for the Ironton Tanks. He later served as the head coach at Wayne State University from 1932 to 1945, compiling a career college football record of 42–51–8 (.455).
